I'm looking forward to speaking at a few upcoming events I wanted to mention. Here they are, in order of appearance:
Technology Convergence Conference (Keynote). This annual conference is put on by an organization called Teledata, and I'll be speaking for a group of IT Professionals as well as other experts (CIO's, etc) in the industry with a new talk called, "Heartificial Intelligence" which is the focus of my new book. Basic idea - if we're programming algorithms and AI with the values we want them to emulate, shouldn't we know and live to our own values first?
Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. I'll be participating in a panel called, "Me and My Smater World" at MWC organized by an agency in Berlin called Rethink where my friend Markus works. I'll be speaking on how personal data can/should be controlled by individuals and how it can/should be used to increase wellbeing.
SXSW in Austin. I'm on a panel called, "Biometrics and Identity: Beyond Wearables" happening on Sunday during Interactive. It's pretty early in the day, so hopefully attendees will be willing to nurse their hangovers while they hear our panel talk about the future of Quantified Self and wearable technology.
I'm always interested in speaking engagements and workshops, and can be contacted about doing so through my Agency. I welcome any referrals as well, and thank you in advance for your interest.
